Dreamscape Immersive VR

Rando Productions partnered with Dreamscape Immersive, a leader in location-based VR, to fabricate themed set pieces for their multiplexes in Los Angeles, Columbus, Paramus, and New York City. Beginning in 2017, we combined metal, wood, and paint fabrication with immersive design to help bring iconic Warner Bros. and DreamWorks stories to life.

For DreamWorks Dragons Flight Academy, our team fabricated custom scooter-style ride vehicles that let participants soar alongside Hiccup, Astrid, Toothless, and Stormfly. Designed with physical props and enhanced with wind and water effects, the seats created a convincing sense of flight and deepened the adventure’s realism.

We also supported the Harry Potter VR experiences at the flagship New York City store, crafting themed broomstick ride vehicles and immersive loading-area seating. These elements elevated both the pre-show and in-show moments, ensuring guests were seamlessly transported from the physical world into the Wizarding World.

Dreamscape later transitioned from entertainment multiplexes to Dreamscape Learn, an AR/VR education center at Arizona State University. Rando Productions is proud to have helped shape their early groundbreaking attractions, demonstrating how expert fabrication can merge with emerging technology to create unforgettable immersive experiences.
